Lesedauer: min

REpower will deliver and install 22 of its 3.4M104, 3.4 MW wind turbines at the 74.8 MW Hohen Luckow wind farm near Rostock, Germany.
The wind farm, developed by Denker & Wulf, is expected to be constructed by the summer of 2012.

REpower will service and maintain the wind turbines with a hub height of 128 m and with hybrid concrete and steel towers, under a 15 year contract.

Jens Müller-Nielsen, Managing Director of REpower Systems GmbH – the recently created REpower subsidiary for the German market, says: “This order is a huge success for REpower’s operations in Germany. The recent opening of our German subsidiary signalled our intention to further strengthen our position on the domestic market.

“For the German market Hohen Luckow is an extremely large-scale project. The signing of the supply chain contract illustrates that, with the REpower 3.4M104, we have a very attractive turbine type in our product portfolio.”
