He has been Head of the Surface, Joining and Coating Technology department at ÖGI since 2017 and will continue in this role as Managing Director.
He completed his degree and doctorate in technical chemistry in Vienna and Frankfurt am Main and began his professional career in the chemical wholesale trade. This was followed by positions as sales manager and manager in this industry. Since 2009, Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Peter Liepert has been working as an assessor and expert in the fields of component testing, surface and coating technology. He also works for certification bodies as an auditor and in the field of research.
