Steel Strips Wheels Limited has received big business from the highly quality conscious German Car maker AUDI. This is SSWL's second export order from a German OEM. Earlier BMW had awarded the company business for the MINI vehicle.
The awarded business has a potential of exports worth over USD 38 million over 5 years period. The company expects to start supplies in q1 2011.
SSWL will start with a 20% SOB which will be ramped up to 100% based on SSWL's performance in quality & supplies. SSWL team is more than confident of reaching the 100% SOB in quick time.
