On July 5, 2024, Savelli Technologies S.r.l. (registered brand and trademark “SAVELLI since 1842” – www.savelli.it) and Weifang Kailong Machinery Co. Ltd. held a signing ceremony in Shanghai, officially announcing the establishment of the new Chinese company, Savelli Machinery Weifang Co. Ltd.
This new venture, majority-owned by Savelli Technologies, which has held the trademark and related intellectual property rights in China since 2014, marks a significant step in the collaboration between the two companies. The ceremony took place during the Metal China 2024 trade fair.
In his speech, Luca Gervasoni of SAVELLI emphasized the intention of the company to be more present in the strategic Chinese market, aiming to better serve existing customers and attract new ones. SAVELLI and Kailong have been collaborating since 2019, and this joint venture solidifies that partnership. SAVELLI, founded in 1842, is one of the few high-tech providers of automatic molding machines and sand plants for the green sand sector. With Weifang Kailong, SAVELLI has a partner with high competence, a deep understanding of the industry, and an appreciation for Western know-how.
