On July the Metal Thailand 2024 press conference successfully took place during METAL CHINA and Diecasting China 2024. The METAL THAILAND 2024 will be held from September 18 to 20, 2024, at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand.
The press conference was led by Mr. Cao Linfeng, Deputy Secretary General of the China Foundry Association; Mr. Zhang Libo, Vice President of the China Machinery Industry Federation and President of the China Foundry Association; Mr. Chuchai, President of the Thailand Foundry Association; Mr. Wang Dongsheng, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of the China Foundry Association; Mr. Gao Wei, Executive Vice President of the China Foundry Association. Other attendees included Mr. Ma Hongru, Chief Economist of the China Foundry Association, and representatives from exhibitors like Handan Zhongang New Material, Jiangsu Tiho Machinery, Nanjing Changjiang Industrial Furnace, Yonghong Machinery, Thailand PINE Pacific, Shandong Rongtai, Shandong Yongchuang Material, Huizhou Jibang Precision Casting. Mr. Bo Xiangjun, Chairman of Meide Thai Steel Pipe Fittings Co., Ltd., and Mr. Wu Yongchun, General Manager of Tengfei Alloy Materials (Thailand) Co., Ltd., participated online.
In his speech, Mr. Gao Wei elaborated on the resource, platform, and service advantages of the China Foundry Association in organizing exhibitions in Thailand. He discussed aspects such as the Thai market overview, competitive advantages, investment environment, the size of the Chinese foundry industry, industrial chain restructuring, and the features and benefits of exhibitions. Mr. Wu Yongchun shared successful experiences with investing in Thailand online.
Mr. Chuchai invited participation in the Thailand exhibition, emphasizing that the Metal Thailand exhibition will further deepen the friendship between the China Foundry Association and the Thailand Foundry Association, promoting more fruitful achievements in the foundry field between China and Thailand.

Thailand is a key investment destination for Chinese foundry companies. Metal Thailand 2024 will be the second exhibition by the China Foundry Association in Thailand, serving as a significant platform for Chinese companies to go abroad and present their image. The Metal Thailand 2024 will gather over 200 Chinese and international exhibitors, covering four main themes: casting, forging, heat treatment, and welding. The exhibition will focus on advanced production technologies, high-quality metal products, green and environmentally friendly materials, intelligent manufacturing equipment, and solutions in basic mechanical manufacturing processes, aiming to create a professional event for the entire industrial chain of Southeast Asian manufacturing.
The exhibition aims to deepen international exchange and cooperation in the metal casting industry between China and Thailand, promote intensive exchange in technology, products, trade, and other aspects between Chinese and Southeast Asian companies, explore new cooperation opportunities, and build a platform for exhibition, exchange, and trade cooperation between Chinese and Thai companies, as well as Chinese and Southeast Asian companies.
