Brazilian organisation participates in international association for the first time.
National member associations of the international precision tool group Istma Americas recently met in Brazil, and the local tool and mould group Abinfer participated in the summit for the first time. Other attendees included Istma Americas Vice President Les Payne, a representative from the Argentine association and a range of other officials.
The meeting was held in conjunction with the EuroMold-Brazil exhibition in Joinville, and those attending discussed the possibility of instituting annual gatherings for Istma Americas members. Sites for the summits have not yet been determined, Istma Americas said.
