High Filtration Performance and Low Energy Consumption
AGTOS has developed a modular cleaning system solution specifically tailored to the requirements of wheel blasting, which can be flexibly adapted to the extraction airflows of different wheel blast machines.
The functionality is optimally adapted to the needs of a wheel blast machine: The filter system draws dust-laden air through the filter. Heavy particles are separated in the first stage via an impact separator. The extracted dust settles on the outside of the conically shaped filter cartridges and falls into a collection container during pulse-jet cleaning. The tapering shape of the filter ensures that less dust can settle due to gravity, which also facilitates cleaning.
A differential pressure measurement before and after the filter indicates when the filter is clogged and initiates a pulse-jet cleaning. This automatic cleaning occurs during operation, ensuring consistent filtration performance with low energy consumption and extending the service life of the filter cartridges.
Easy Filter Cartridge Replacement
Filter replacement has always been a messy task: wearing personal protective equipment, opening the system, removing the filter in the dusty interior, disposing of the dusty filter, and installing a new filter in the dusty interior.
AGTOS' dry filter systems, using differential pressure measurement, automatically detect when a filter cartridge is finally clogged and can no longer be cleaned by pulse-jet air blasts. The system then signals this condition.
The spent filter cartridges no longer need to be laboriously removed; they can be easily taken out using a drawer system without tools. A filter cartridge consists of a support cage and a filter medium, and only the filter medium needs to be replaced.
